Born and raised in the UK and France on a diet of 90’s French Cinema and British Satire, JJ was forged in England, tested in Europe and Asia, and groomed in the US.
Heavily influenced by the likes of John Pilger and Louis Theroux, JJ quickly found his calling in the field of observational documentaries before adapting himself to the world of TV and large scale broadcast and commercial productions prior to his migration to Oregon.
With almost 20 years of production experience under his belt, JJ has been residing in Oregon for over a decade. JJ cut his teeth on the cutting room floor before working directly behind the camera. Having worked up the production ladder to executive status, JJ prefers to build teams, keeping them happy, and producing the best quality work possible for the amount afforded his projects, so that our artists can breathe and remain inspired. JJ will also muck in when necessary and is currently training and educating the next generation of filmmakers in his community.
On top of his production work, JJ has taught Photography, Film and and Video production to high schools in Vancouver, Washington, sharing the love of the art with his students.
Equipped to tackle the toughest production logistics, specializing in access based filmmaking, JJ has been crafting stories and creating quality content for numerous brands and agencies as a skilled broadcast and digital creative producer, post and line producer.
