This was a unique project for Revery. Black Ambition wasn’t about highlighting a moment, but about contributing to an ever-growing movement. The goal was to bring euphoric transformation, exciting disruption, and galvanized potential: A united stake in a new, brilliant future.
Where Black Ambition saw a future where ideas could expand, where our differences were our super powers, and where Black and Latinx founders could afford to take big risks, Revery saw where we could help build the support beams. In partnership with our creative network and production teams across the country, we helped to actualize Black Ambition’s mission – in this inaugural year, our true North was in setting a direction for the years of this Prize that will follow.
This is only the beginning – one in which we walk with equal footing, and where the paths and vision we helped to create light the way for future cycles and applicants. We’re excited for where Black Ambition goes next, and what that will mean for our collective, boundless future.

‘The Unwinking Gaze’ offers a unique, behind-the-scenes insight into the recent working life of Tibet’s would-be saviour and revered world icon the Dalai Lama.
The Unwinking Gaze was filmed over a period of three years with exceptional access showing the daily agonies of the Tibetan leader as he tries to strike a balance between his Buddhist vows and the realpolitik needed to placate China. David and Goliath is played out in front of us as the world’s emerging superpower and the Dalai Lama walk a tightrope over an issue of global importance.
‘The Unwinking Gaze’ is not 3 years in the life of the Dalai. It is his life’s work in 3 years. This film takes you inside the Titanic struggle of one of the great spiritual and political figures of our time, as he tries to lead his people to a peaceful resolution with China.

In 2008, the European Climate Foundation commissioned me to interview senior leaders in the global corporate sector. I produced a series of 3 videos that were broadcast at the Climate Summit in Paris. These films addressed the issues behind the climate change debate, the action required and what the future holds. The goal of the summit was to set targets and standards of practice for businesses to implement by 2020.
